Fowler Police Arrest Brody Krautschun on Child Sexual Assault, Exploitation Charges

The Fowler Police Department is notifying the community of the arrest of Brody Krautschun following an investigation into alleged criminal conduct occurring in Fowler.
Krautschun was arrested on an active warrant for the following alleged offenses:
• Sexual Assault on a Child, C.R.S. § 18-3-405(2)(a) — Class 3 Felony
• Child Abuse, C.R.S. § 18-6-401(1)(a) — Class 2 Misdemeanor
• Sexual Exploitation of a Child, C.R.S. § 18-6-403 — Class 4 Felony
During the investigation, Fowler Police officers developed information indicating Krautschun was in the Crowley County area. The Crowley County Sheriff’s Office assisted Fowler Police by confirming his vehicle was in the area while Fowler officers continued the investigation and worked to obtain an arrest warrant.
Following the issuance of the warrant, investigative efforts continued into September 4th and led law enforcement to the Pueblo area. With assistance from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Pueblo Police Department, Krautschun was located and taken into custody without incident.
The Fowler Police Department would like to thank the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Pueblo Police Department, and Crowley County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance throughout the investigation and apprehension.
