Girl Scout Interest Meeting Coming to La Junta

Local families invited to discover opportunities available through Girl Scouts of Colorado

LA JUNTA, Colo. — Girls and their families are invited to attend a Girl Scout Interest Meeting on Friday, September 11, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Memorial Library, located at 522 Colorado Avenue in La Junta.

The informational meeting will introduce families to the many opportunities available through Girl Scouts of Colorado. From kindergarten through high school, Girl Scouts can build confidence, develop leadership skills, form lasting friendships, explore their interests, and prepare to lead with courage and character.

Attendees will learn how girls can begin their own Girl Scout adventures and participate in activities designed to encourage personal growth, teamwork, community involvement, and outdoor exploration.

Parents, guardians, and girls interested in learning more about Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend.
