Colorado State Patrol Seeking the Public's Help

Two-vehicle serious bodily injury crash

(ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLO) - On July 25, 2026, at approximately 11:12 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle on Rosemary Street and East Iliff Avenue in Denver, Colorado.

Preliminary reports indicate that a black Kawasaki motorcycle was fleeing from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office while traveling southbound on East Iliff Avenue. At the intersection of East Iliff Avenue and South Rosemary Street, the motorcycle rider ran a red light. A light-colored Chevrolet struck the motorcycle while traveling westbound on South Rosemary Street at East Iliff Avenue. The Chevrolet did not stop and continued traveling westbound on Rosemary Street.

The 32-year-old driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office then arrested the 32-year-old driver. The 40-year-old passenger on the motorcycle was transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries.

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the hit-and-run crash. The crash investigation is ongoing.
