Rocky Ford Woman Faces Felony Drug Distribution Charge After Arrest on Two Warrants

Earlier today, Rocky Ford Police Officers contacted Laurie Cordova (44yo) in the area of Walnut and 6th for two arrest warrants: FTC - Controlled Substance (DM1), 2nd Degree Burglary (M2).
Officers took her into custody and located more than 8 grams of fentanyl, more than 15 grams of meth, cash and additional evidence suggesting distribution.
Cordova was booked into the Otero County Jail on the two warrants and additional charges of: Possession of more than 4 grams of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Felony 4), Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Felony 4) and Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance (Felony 3).
Charges are merely an accusation. Cordova is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
