Two-Vehicle Accident at 5th & Colorado in La Junta
On March 5th just after 1 pm a red Chevy SUV traveling South on Colorado Avenue struck a white Kia sedan at the intersection of 5th and Colorado ave.
The passenger side of the Kia sedan took the impact. The SUV hit hard enough that side curtain airbags were deployed.
La Junta Police Officers directed traffic. The scene was cleared quickly to keep downtown traffic flowing, there did not appear to be any serious injuries.
