LAS ANIMAS, Colo. — Four-year-old Benjamin Comstock wanted to be a police officer for Halloween. Officer Havens of the Las Animas Police Department helped make the experience memorable by giving him a tour of the department and showing him how a patrol car’s lights and sirens work.

Benjamin’s family shared the visit with SECO News, saying Officer Havens “made my 4 year olds day.” The family also expressed appreciation for the local police department and the time the officer spent with him.

The visit gave Little Benjamin a close look at the job behind his Halloween costume and a moment his family was glad to share with the community.
