Kate Rose Martinez, 26 of Colorado Springs, formerly of La Junta, Colorado, passed away on November 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 5, 2000, in La Junta, Colorado to Wendy M. (George) & Daniel P. Brusuelas. Kate married Dominic Martinez.

Kate is survived by her husband, Dominic Martinez; children, Everly Shannon, Sawyer Martinez & Own Martinez; parents, Daniel & Wendy Brusuelas; Mother & Father -in-law, Robert & Cynthia Martinez; siblings, Madelin Brusuelas, Alezandria Brusuelas & Bailey Brusuelas; brother-in-law, Jonathan (Taci) Martinez; niece, Avery Smith; nephews, Jordan Martinez and Hunter Isaacs; Grandparents, Gilbert T. George, JoAnn Brusuelas and Linda Martinez; aunts, uncles & cousins also survive. Kate is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elizabeth George and Rueben Brusuelas; beloved great- grandmother, Margaret Bliss.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in La Junta, Colorado with Pastor John Dell of the First Christian Church of Rocky Ford officiating. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, La Junta, Colorado.
